Join internationally known artist Patrick Hunter for an afternoon of painting and well being as he shares his experiences as a 2 spirited Indigenous artist growing up in Northwest Ontario and how he started on his journey of creativity. This workshop is for anyone aged 14+.

About the event
Here’s what you can expect: The fundamentals of painting / techniques in a fun & positive environment. The importance of mental health & healing through the arts. The spiritual significance /history of the Woodland Art form in Indigenous communities. Tips on how to turn your passion for art into a meaningful career! Last but not least, artistic confidence! P.S: You don’t need prior painting experience. I got you! :)
Thank you for your interest in this painting workshop. At this time, The Bird House is not liscenced to serve alcohol, but coffee, tea and water are always available for you. Snacks will also be available for this workshop. Also please note, there will be two dogs in the studio. They are nice. :) Please consider this if you have allergies.
