About the event
In this 3 session course, your child will learn the basics of realistic drawing using the practices of Betty Edwards from the acclaimed "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" book. We will not get into shading very much, as there is much to learn about drawing before we can move on to that important stage or realistic drawing. This is for the child that eats, breathes, walks, talks art and spends their time drawing. It is important to note that this course requires concentration, focus and quiet, so please consider that when signing your child up.
Also note, I do have two studio dogs, Willow and Lola and they are usually with me. Your child will be offered either a hot chocolate or iced tea in the studio. You are also welcome to stay and enjoy the deck, studio or reading nook space.
